Full Papers

PDC 2016 offers an extraordinary range of Full Papers, presenting original research at the forefront of Participatory Design (PD). Each in their way, the papers engage with this year’s theme offering critical and theoretical reflections of the role of participatory design in a participatory era; the defining values, utopias and characteristics it hold, and the stakes and challenges for the future? As a single-track conference, and the only research conference exclusively dedicated to PD, the full research papers have a broad impact on the development of PD theory, approaches and practices. The eighteen accepted full papers are divided into five sessions during the conference:

FP1: Plurality

FP2: Participatory Conditions

FP3: Long-Term Trajectories

FP4: Dimensions of Participation

FP5: Participations’ Scope
